I wrote earlier this quarter, how now, is the time to jump into the luxury home market in the Charleston, SC area and my clients recent close on 3205 Palm Blvd, on Isle of Palms is a great example.
The home was a short sale and it took the longest of any I have been apart of to close. We contracted in late July and closed December 15th. The short sale process has been sped-up in most cases, but this one had some different wrinkles that we had to overcome.
My clients, a great couple from Pittsburgh, bought a home, that at the high, was on the market for $2.2 million, for just $1,025,000. The beach house was fully furnished, 3,600 sqft, 5 beds and 4 1/2 baths, pool, elevator and good second row views of the Atlantic Ocean.
