We had a nice warm weekend and I had the chance to go play golf at the Daniel Island Club on Daniel Island.
The Club features the country’s only private pairing of golf courses by Tom Fazio and Rees Jones on the same property. Both courses are in a word — spectacular.
The Daniel Island Club in my opinion is one of the nicest private clubs on the East Coast. Besides golf the Club offers, a spa, fitness center, private clay and grass court tennis, three top-notch restaurants (some of the best food in Charleston, period) two pools, one for folks with kids and one for adults only. The pools are set in a resort like atmosphere and it feels like you are laying pool side at the Ritz. The staff at the Club bend-over-backwards to please.
