I show a lot of custom homes that sometimes run together in my mind, but
occasionally I run across homes that even get my attention. One such home
is 39 Robert Mills Circle in I’on in Mt. Pleasant, SC. I blogged recently
about another home on Robert Mills that was bank owned and it sold 2 days
later. 39 Robert Mills isn’t a lender owned home, but is priced very well.
Robert Mills Circle in I’on is one of my favorite streets, as many of the
lots back up to the creek, and marsh and offer a lot of privacy for I’on.
39 Robert Mills Circle is nearly 5,000 sqft with 5 bedrooms and 5 1/2
baths. The home overlooks the creek off the rear. Finishes in the home
are top notch. Lots of detail, gorgeous Spanish Cedar Doors that lead to
a screened porch, and a lot of interior moldings. The kitchen is high
quality too, with Wolfe and Sub Zero appliances. I really like the
functional layout of the house and it has a master bedroom down that also
overlooks the creek/marsh. The home has been certified by Earthcraft and
The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) for its highly efficient
Green Building features. They are asking $1,495,000.
The time to buy high-end homes in now. The rest of the market, at least
in Charleston, is starting to recover, but the luxury homes are still
hurting. Many of my cash buyers have been jumping in the game and getting
some great deals.
